By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using any physical or digital product (each, a “Product,” “Model,” or “File”) from LS3D Printing (“LS3D,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Customer” or “Licensee”) agree to the following Terms of Service (the “Terms”). By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to review these Terms, the Payment and Refund Policy, and any product‑specific notes on the product page and checkout screen.

 

1. Shipping Policy

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically packed and shipped within 1–2 weeks. This timeframe may be longer during high demand, holidays, or temporary closures (for example, personal vacation).
  • Delivery Time: Estimated delivery dates shown at checkout apply after your order has been shipped. Delivery times vary by destination and courier.

Please note that LS3D is a single‑operator workshop, not a large‑scale corporation. Quality takes time, and every product is made or packed by hand.

 

2. Payment and Refund Policy

  • All Sales Are Final: Due to the custom, handmade, or digital nature of LS3D Printing products, all payments are final and non‑refundable. This applies to both physical and digital items once an order has been placed.
  • Digital Files: Digital downloads and 3D model files are final sales. Once a digital file is purchased or downloaded, LS3D Printing cannot offer refunds, exchanges, replacements, or cancellations.
  • Physical Products: Each physical item is made or prepared to order. Once production has started, cancellations or refunds cannot be issued.
  • Chargebacks: Any attempt to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute after receiving a digital file or tracking confirmation constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in permanent banning and pursuit of legal remedies where available.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or limit any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law in your country or state of residence. Where such rights apply, they will prevail to the extent of any conflict.

 

3. Communication

  • All order updates, tracking numbers, and notifications are sent via Shopify to the email address provided at checkout.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your email address is correct and for monitoring your spam/junk folders.
  • If you have not received tracking information after the stated shipping window, email

4. Age Restrictions and Safety Disclaimer

  • LS3D products and 3D prints may include small parts and other components that present choking or injury hazards.
  • Products are not toys and are not suitable for children under 14 or for use around pets.
  • Adult supervision is required if minors handle or assemble any LS3D product.
  • LS3D Printing assumes no responsibility or liability for injury, harm, illness, or death resulting from improper use or failure to follow these safety guidelines.

In short: be responsible, supervise children, and use common sense.

 

5. Delivery Policy

  • Orders are shipped to the exact address provided at checkout.
  • LS3D is not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
  • If an address was mistyped by LS3D, your order will be reshipped free of charge.
  • LS3D is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unclaimed packages, and refunds will not be issued for these cases.
  • Customers are responsible for tracking their orders once shipped.
  • International customers: If you select DHL, you must register for delivery updates on DHL’s website to help prevent return or loss of the package.

 

6. Assembly Policy

  • Some parts may be fragile or brittle. Customers should watch the full assembly tutorial on LS3D’s Instagram or YouTube before beginning assembly.
  • Improper handling or assembly can cause breakage. LS3D is not responsible for damages caused by user error.

6A. Digital File Use and Printing Responsibility

  • All LS3D digital files are tested and used in active production prior to release to help ensure functionality.
  • Presupported Models: Files are provided presupported and verified to print successfully under normal conditions.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your 3D printer, slicer settings, and materials are properly calibrated and compatible with the provided files.
  • LS3D Printing is not responsible for print failures, misprints, or quality issues resulting from improper printer tuning, unsupported hardware, or user error.
  • By purchasing and using LS3D digital files, you acknowledge and accept that print results may vary based on your individual setup, resin type, and environmental factors.

Assembly Notes:

  • May require a heat gun for proper fitting.
  • A 1/32 drill bit may be needed to widen helmets or small parts.
  • SLA 3D printed; painting and finishing are required by the customer.

 

7. Reselling Policy

  • Casting, cloning, or duplicating LS3D products (physical or digital) for profit or resale is strictly prohibited.
  • You may paint, modify, and resell LS3D physical products only under the following conditions:
  • The original LS3D part remains physically intact and identifiable.
  • LS3D Printing is clearly credited in your product description (for example, “Parts designed by LS3D Printing”).
  • Simply applying primer or light paint is not considered sufficient modification for resale.
  • Any unauthorized reproduction or casting constitutes a breach of LS3D’s intellectual property rights and may trigger enforcement measures as described in Section 8.

 

8. License and Intellectual Property Terms

8.1 License Grant

By downloading, accessing, or using any LS3D digital file:

  • You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license for personal use only.
  • You may not share, sell, redistribute, edit, modify, or otherwise commercialize any LS3D file.
  • Prohibited commercial uses include, but are not limited to:
  • Selling physical or digital prints based on the file.
  • Using LS3D parts within another item for sale.
  • Uploading, sharing, or making LS3D files or derivatives available online.

8.2 Ownership

  • All designs, models, and files remain the exclusive intellectual property of LS3D Printing.
  • Downloading a file does not transfer ownership—only a limited license for permitted use is granted.

8.3 Derivative Works

  • You may not alter, modify, reverse‑engineer, or create derivative works from LS3D files for resale, distribution, or any public release.
  • Requests for custom edits or commissions must be sent to

8.4 Commercial Licensing

  • If you wish to use LS3D’s work commercially (including reselling, kitbashing, or inclusion in other products), you must obtain written approval and a separate paid license. Usually via the correct Patreon membership. This is used mainly for artist who wish to print their own files for clients. 
  • Unauthorized commercial use results in immediate termination of your license and may lead to enforcement actions under Section 9.

 

9. Prohibited Uses and Enforcement

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Redistributing, re‑uploading, or sharing LS3D files or derivatives.
  • Including LS3D designs in NFTs, AI training data sets, or blockchain projects.
  • Using LS3D designs, likenesses, or branding for promotion or advertising without prior written consent.

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate license termination.
  • Legal action to recover damages, attorney fees, and lost revenue where permitted by law.
  • Permanent ban from future LS3D purchases or licenses.

 

10. Warranty Disclaimer

All products and files are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties or guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Use of LS3D products is at your own risk, and LS3D disclaims liability for any damages resulting from use or misuse.

 

11. Right to Refuse Service and Policy Changes

  • Right to Refuse Service: LS3D Printing reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion and for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, policy violations, inappropriate behavior, unsafe shipment destinations, or prior misuse of LS3D products or licenses.
  • If an order is canceled before fulfillment, any payment collected will be refunded in full.
  • Right to Modify Terms: LS3D Printing may update, modify, or replace any portion of these Terms at any time. Continued use of LS3D’s website, products, or files after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • It is the Customer’s responsibility to review this page periodically for updates.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LS3D Printing, its owner, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the use of LS3D products or files, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In all cases, LS3D Printing’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to any purchase will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product or file giving rise to the claim.

 

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, your purchase, or your use of LS3D products must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

 

14. Agreement and Acceptance

By completing a purchase or downloading or using any LS3D product or file, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated in these Terms.
  • Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or redistribution constitutes a breach of this agreement and may result in legal enforcement.
